About the Awaken Class
Awaken is not a typical class. It is a small group of people who come together to explore life experiences, learn from each other, and make some choices about our personal role in creating our future. Through the course of 12-weeks, members are provided space to reflect on their past, assess their current situation, identify their strengths, and plan for a brighter future. Topics covered include financial well-being, managing stress, building healthy relationships, physical health, spiritual growth, and goal setting.
The Awaken Class is the first step in a program offered by Communities of Transformation, a nonprofit organization with locations in Alabama and Florida. Each location meets one night a week. Dinner and childcare are provided free of charge. To find a location near you, click here.
